99.5 FM WYCD Detroit's Best Country is killing 106.7 FM The Fox with ratings.





Clear Channel will soon have to pick a new format for 106.7 FM very soon.





Maybe they will relauch the website www.1067needshelp.com again and we can pick a new format for 106.7 FM.Does it seem like Clear Channel owned 106.7 FM The Fox will not last as a Country radio station in Detroit?

I wish I was back at home in Detroit I am stuck in Rockford Illinois we have only one R%26amp;B station 106.3 and it sucks for the most part. Anyway I will be back in June 08 if all goes well with chrysler and our new contract.
The times they are a changing. Not even Oldies 104.3 plays the same music it played 6-10 years ago (as in the 50s are gone from the catalog).





Whatever happens will be dictated by advertising dollars.





The question on my mind is whether or not the genre will be represented on HD radio in Detorit. It's not just a question for Country, but for all music.





I personally don't expect more than a token Country station in Detroit Rock City, not after the homogenization that took place a few years ago.
Hard to believe there would be anything but ROCK in THE ROCK CITY!!! Is there a song called Detroit country city? I think not!!
